If you don’t want to be bothered to control the colors for a large project, I suggest at least doing it for the first 8-10 rounds. For that reason, it doesn’t lend itself well to random color changes, so I suggest you do a little color control and change colors intentionally. This pattern however has a join in the middle of one of the sides which becomes obvious and distracting if the colors change randomly. I love cake yarn so much, and there are so many great options to choose from.
